Job Title: Game Master

Cracked It Escape Games is a fun, interactive experience where guests are challenged to solve riddles, puzzles, and follow clues in order to escape a room or complete a mission.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Ideal Candidate will have extensive experience in providing top-notch customer service. Experience in theater, public speaking, or performing arts is a plus. Candidates MUST HAVE AN OUTGOING PERSONALITY, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail..

• This is a part-time, hourly, at-will position

  • Starting Hourly Pay is $11.50/hr

    • Opportunities for bonuses may include guest experience incentives, upsells, and performance-based rewards.

  • The company offers Paid Time Off beginning 90 days from date of hire.

Hours and Availability

Most shifts fall in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

• Direct customer service experience (Restaurant FOH server, Bartender, Hotel Reception, Entertainment Attraction)

• High School Diploma or on track to receive high school diploma

• Reliable transportation

Optional qualifications:

• Working knowledge of and/or experience with basic hand tools, glues, adhesives, and other do it yourself repair techniques.

• Working knowledge of and/or experience with computer programs such as Google Sheets and Canva.

• Experience with table-top role playing game mastering, theater/performance art, public speaking, teaching, camp counseling/scout mastering.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct business opening and closing procedures according to training guides.

• Ensure escape rooms are reset and ready for each game.

• Ensure that guests have paid in full and signed liability waivers.

• Conduct pre-game rules and safety overview and mission briefings.

• Monitor every game closely for its entirety and provide appropriate clues when prompted.

• At the conclusion of games, interact with customers, take photos of the group.

• Invite customers to review their experience on Google and TripAdvisor.

• Familiarity with common computer programs is required including but not limited to MS Office suite products MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Canva, and Google Sheets.

• Great interpersonal communication skills are a must. Candidates will be required to interact with guests directly, conduct customer service functions, and take bookings over the telephone.
