We at Cracked it! Escape Games are proud to host the artwork of Onslow County artists. Our lobby and briefing space is dedicated to the presentation and display of their work.

 Featured Artist - June 2016 - Major McNair

Major McNair is a native of Jacksonville, NC and now resides there with his wife, the former Annie Marie Love, of Burlington, NC.  He was a military brat and the elder of three sons of a Montford Point Marine.

He studied at Wayne Community College, Goldsboro, NC., Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts, from North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC.; a Commercial Arts and Advertising Design Technology Degree from Alamance Community College, Burlington, NC and a four-year diploma in Biblical Studies from Greensboro, NC.

Major McNair is a former member of the Art Guild of Person County, Roxboro, North Carolina.  He is a former board member of the Council for the Arts, Jacksonville, NC.

He has taught at Alamance – Burlington School System, Alamance Community College, Burlington, NC Recreation and Parks, and Alamance County Community Service Agency.

Newspaper articles Times News Publishing Co. Burlington, NC., Daily News, Jacksonville, NC., Roxboro, NC, and New Bern, NC.  His exhibitions and shows are many, including: The North Carolina Museum of History Eight Annual African American Cultural Celebration.

He uses acrylics for his medium and his forte is facial expressions.
